20 MOST-SUBSCRIBED MUSEUM YOUTUBE CHANNELS

List of most-subscribed Museum Youtube Channels 2022 (TOP 20):

There may be those who think that when museums combine their own collections with storytelling, "Museum Youtube Channels" show up. However, Museum Youtube Channels are much more than that! It is an area where they welcome all age groups on a platform that covers not only the museum audience but everyone. It is a list that you will be surprised when you see some museum channels where you will meet with creative contents, maybe on the list! It has not been done before, so we have prepared it for you as museologists. Viewing algorithms, video content numbers on Youtube, ... etc. all of these can be a separate list, but this list is only focused on the number of subscribers. You may see more than one museum in one item, as some museums in the list have the same number of subscribers. Don't just think about museum-oriented 'channel names'. Since everyone has searched under the name of the museum in the lists we have examined, museums can also operate under the name of the institutions or foundations they are affiliated with, the institutions or foundations can also create content for a channel in parallel with the name of the museum. Institutions can also benefit from communities in different categories and museums within themselves for content creation, so those who use their own museums while creating content are also on the list. You will see them all in the list. Enjoy the channels!

20 MUST-SEE MOVIES AND DOCUMENTARIES ABOUT ART AND MUSEUMS

We can't always watch Rick and Morty and Inside Job , right? ... Right? (Deep silence) Anyway, we should take a break and look at the world of art and culture. Isn't it an ideal day for a dinner and movie duo? (You can adapt it to whatever day you read it) You ordered a delicious meal or cooked that delicious meal that you had in mind since last night , looking for something to watch while you eat it... A TV series? Definitely not... So how about the movie? We already know that it will not end at the same time as the meal - it never progresses in sync, but we should not give up trying - we still made a list. Many movies and documentaries are waiting for you, from those who drink tea with Mussolini to the most famous museums of the world! Here is your list of films and documentaries about art and museums that you must watch : MUSEO (MUSEUM) (2018) Directed by: Alonso Ruizpalacios Starring: Gael García Bernal, Leonardo Ortizgris, Simon Russell Beale, Lynn Gilmartin, Alfredo Cas...

NEW TYPES OF MUSEUMS NOT ACCEPTABLE BY ACADEMICS: POP-UP MUSEUMS AND NFT MUSEUM

One of our museologist academics who also contributed to the construction of many museums and one of the active names in ICOM, stated that she never thought of Pop-Up museums in the category of museums and refused to teach about them within the scope of master's program courses. She doesn't even mention NFT and museums anyway. Do you think that academics' rejection of a type of museum category is reason enough to ignore that type of museum? Of course not. We started talking like Graham Hancock in the Ancient Apocalypse series . Why might some museum categories have difficulty gaining acceptance? What depends on the acceptance of a museum's genre? Based on the data, we mentioned that there are over 104,000 museums in the world. This number is increasing and there are various categories of museums in the world. Do you know the types and categories of museums? Even if you knew by now, new types of museums are still emerging, for example, have you ever heard of the worl...

ACT 1963 OBSTRUCTION FOR THE ROSETTA STONE: THE NEW GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM AND THE BRITISH MUSEUM

How do museums build their collections? Have you ever wondered about the collection policies of museums? While the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) , which is preparing for its opening in 2023 to become the world's largest archaeological museum, is on our agenda, it is necessary to mention about the collection policies. GEM will house over 100,000 artefacts, include the entirety of Tutankhamun’s treasure displayed together for the first time, and become the largest archaeological museum complex in the world. But... There is something missing in this huge collection. You might be wondering what the British Museum has to do with the opening of the GEM... We can answer it in two words: Rosetta Stone . That stone that cannot be shared and the debate between academics and researchers never ends. Special tours of Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) have started before the opening, and photos are sent to us. Sharing photos is prohibited after a part of the museum, so we can see it to a cert...
