FROM THE PAST TO NOW: THE LONDON MUSEUM

Upcoming Museum: The London Museum (formerly known as Museum of London). Be Lean - Be Clean - Be Green - Be Londoner! The closing of The Museum of London marks en of an era but also re-opening of the museum says a lot! The London Museum is already the new black ! As museologists, we are excited about the strategic process of the museum, which is planned to open in 2026, and the publication of the project's progress on the official website of the Museum of London! We are partnering in the transformation of an important museum and this time we have a chance to follow the process! We will be able to observe not only the architecture and design part, but also the sustainability of a museum and all the possibilities it wishes to offer for its visitors. One of the main striking elements, the fact that the museum is not in a new building or a palace or mansion as we are used to in museum identities in London, but in an area to be revived like a phoenix in the area where the old market p

MUSEUMS AGAINST THE CLIMATE CHANGE

국립현대미술관 In April 2022, Youn Bummo , director of  The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA) , published a strategic report in which they announced the 2022-2024 vision for MMCA . In this report, it is stated that during the next 50 years, museums will have to keep up with the pace of society and it is necessary to be ready for a sustainable transformation. They gathered the focal points of this transformation under four main headings: "Expansion and Connection, K-art, Ecological Museum and Digital Innovation". However, Museum Youtube Channels are much more than that! It is an area where they welcome all age groups on a platform that covers not only the museum audience but everyone . It is a list that you will be surprised when you see some museum channels where you will meet with creative contents, maybe on the list! It has not been done before, so we have prepared it for you as museologists . Viewing algorithms, video content numbers on Youtube, ... etc. all of these can be a separate list, but this list is only focused on the number of subscribers . You may see more than one museum in one item, as some museums in the list have the same number of subscribers. Don't just think about museum-oriented  'channel names'. Since everyone has searched under the name of the museum in t

London calling!!! Zrrrrrrr... How to travel like a local? We have prepared a list where you can spend time like someone who lives there locally! Stay locally but tourist destinations are inevitable, sure. We wanted to remind you that you should focus on the content rather than the main topics! It is not satiety by eating, but the satiation of the soul! Now that we remember the doughnuts by Bread Ahead at Borough Market , we realized that we shouldn't say that... Ok, let's start our LDN tour where we will sit in the parks with pleasure while we are doing an art and culture tour, try delicious things and explore a lot. Our Top 20 list!  London Eye-Photograph: @artandtownmag South Bank London:        Konditor-Photograph: @artandtownmag When our courses were in the Waterloo area it was really great to get our croissants and coffees from Konditor (lovely team-still remembered <3) in the morning and spend time before class starts at Jubilee Gardens with our friends!
